Ohio University is excited to welcome future Bobcats to the Athens campus for in-person visits! The following campus visit options are available for first-year students:
- Prospective Student Daily Campus Visit – This campus experience is for high school students and their guests interested in learning more about OHIO. Each visit includes a group information session led by an Undergraduate Admissions representative, who provides details about the application process and a general overview of campus life and the academic experience at OHIO. The session also includes a walking tour of our beautiful and historic campus. This visit will last approximately three hours.
- Admitted Student Daily Campus Visit – These campus visits are for first-year students who have been admitted to Ohio University. Join us on campus with your guests to celebrate your admission and learn more about the OHIO experience. Each visit includes a group information session led by an Undergraduate Admissions representative and a walking tour of our beautiful and historic campus with a student tour guide. This visit will last approximately three hours.
- Transfer Student Daily Campus Visit – This campus experience is for transfer students and their guests, at all stages of the college search process. Each visit includes a group information session led by an Undergraduate Admissions representative, who provides details about your next steps to becoming a Bobcat. Transfer visits are scheduled every other Wednesday.

Select academic colleges offer college-specific visits to students who participate in a daily campus visit. To add an academic visit, register for a daily campus visit offered on one of the days indicated below and be sure to select a major from your preferred academic college when selecting your primary academic interest on the visit registration form.
Please note that academic visit schedules vary throughout the year. The upcoming summer academic visit schedule will be effective beginning May 14, 2024. The current spring semester academic visit schedule is:
- College of Arts and Sciences: Monday, Thursday & Friday
- College of Business: Monday & Friday
- College of Fine Arts: Friday
- College of Health Sciences and Professions: Monday, Thursday & Friday
- Honors Tutorial College: Monday, Thursday & Friday
- Patton College of Education: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
- Russ College of Engineering and Technology: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
- Scripps College of Communication: Monday, Thursday & Friday
