2024 Ohio University Art Prize

The OHIO Art Prize* is the premier high school visual arts and design contest open to all students grade 9-12 nationwide, and also open to international students.

Seeking high school visual artists, designers, and theater production artists with drive, curiosity and passion. Featuring a simple and free online submission process, scholarship prizes, pre-college summer studio awards, and other exclusive opportunities, this contest aims to showcase the best in visual art, graphic and digital design across all genres, formats, and mediums by high school students of fine arts and theater production practices. This unique celebration of the visual arts and design is organized by the College of Fine Arts, School of Art + Design, and the School of Theater at Ohio University— the OHIO Art Prize invites young artists to share their work with our celebrated faculty.

*Ohio residence not required. 
**Scholarships will be applied to OHIO University Undergraduate Tuition upon admission and matriculation into a College of Fine Arts major.  Scholarship prizes are distributed over four years of study with maintenance of eligibility (major in the College of Fine Arts, 3.0 GPA, 15 earned hours per Fall/Spring term). OHIO | Art Prize Scholarships are stackable with other OHIO awards and scholarships up to the full cost of resident tuition.
