Prospective Student Daily Campus Visit

Step onto OHIO's famous brick-lined streets, tour our historic campus, and engage your senses while immersing yourself in OHIO's residential living and dining offerings! This visit option is perfect for admitted high school seniors interested in learning more about OHIO.

Here's what we've got planned for you:

Taste of Campus Living Tour 
Your OHIO experience kicks off with our “Taste of Campus Living Tour,” inspired by the living history museum concept. During this 30- to 45-minute, self-paced tour, which features two first-year residence halls, a dining hall, and a market on West Green, you and your family will get a closer look at the OHIO residential experience. At your designated starting location, and at each featured location along the tour route, you’ll be greeted by a current student guide who will share key campus information and their personal perspective on their Forever OHIO experience. Guides will direct you from stop to stop, ending with a return to Baker University Center for your Admissions Information Session.

Admissions Information Session
This 30-minute session shows you where OHIO fits on the spectrum of colleges and universities you may be considering while giving you a better understanding of what life as a Bobcat can feel like. Led by a member of the admissions team, we'll guide you through your next steps to becoming an #OfficialBobcat, and important dates to remember as you get started on your journey to OHIO.

Books & Bricks Tour
This 90-minute, student-led walking tour will show you where OHIO’s traditions began and the exciting challenges, community, and fun (of course) that await you in Athens.  The tour features the historic College Green, vibrant Uptown Athens, Alden Library, a residence hall, an academic classroom, dining hall, the student recreation center, and other campus highlights.
