Recording Requirements
This year’s competition will be judged virtually and no live auditions will take place. Each contestant will submit a link to a video for the panel of judges to review. Although videos of the highest quality possible are recommended, professional video production is not required or expected.
Video submissions should have been recorded during the current school year.
There should be no announcements or any verbal identification on the recordings submitted. Although the judges will see the performers, every effort is being made to keep judging as anonymous as possible. For this reason, we ask that announcements such as name, school, or hometown are omitted in the video.
All entries should be recorded at the highest quality video level possible, but please do not use any type of enhancement technique to change the quality of the live performance. Engineering, editing, or tampering with the recording after the performance is not allowed.
**Scholarships will be applied to OHIO University Undergraduate Tuition upon admission and matriculation into a College of Fine Arts major. Scholarship prizes are distributed over four years of study with maintenance of eligibility (major in the College of Fine Arts, 3.0 GPA, 15 earned hours per Fall/Spring term). Concerto Prize Scholarships are stackable with other OHIO awards and scholarships up to the full cost of resident tuition.
